An Accommodating Destination

The Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center (Gaylord Palms) offers nine on-site restaurants and the capacity to accommodate thousands of people, ideal features for conducting the 2023 National Veterans Small Business Engagement (NVSBE). The convention center and sleeping rooms are under one roof, making the convenience of staying on-site ideal for NVSBE attendees. The communal spaces are ideal for impromptu networking and the meeting rooms are strategically situated, which minimizes the amount of walking required.

Room Blocks

Discounted sleeping rooms are available for conference attendees at 2 hotels, including the host hotel, Gaylord Palms. Hotels room may sell out quickly, so book early! Complimentary shuttle service will be provided throughout the conference to the offsite hotel, Marriott Village. Attendees can choose to stay at other hotels in Kissimmee Florida or Orlando Florida; however, they will be responsible for transportation from their hotels to the Gaylord Palms and any parking fees.

We have arranged to have both properties offer per diem lodging for Federal employees. Federal contractors are not authorized to use the per diem rate. Please email Reservations@EventPrep.com from your government email account to request the booking link.

Group Room Rates

The Gaylord Palms NVSBE group nightly room rate for a standard room is $219.00, plus 14.5% tax. Upgraded room types are available for an additional charge at the time of booking.

Reservations can also be made by calling the reservations line at 877-682-8552. Please refer to the event National Veterans Small Business Engagement . Federal staff attending must specify they need the per diem rate.

The deadline to book within the NVSBE hotel block is October 19, 2023 . The block will be in high demand and is expected to sell out.

We recommend attendees check-in Monday, November 6 and check out Thursday, November 9 to take advantage of the full schedule of events. Subject to availability, the group rate applies three days before and after the event dates. Attendees are welcome to extend their stay at the time of booking.

Parking

• On-site parking fee: $35 daily
• Valet parking fee: $47 daily
• In and out privileges are for overnight guests only. Day guests are charged per entry.

Resort Fee

The prevailing resort fee is $38.00 per room per night. This fee will be waived with valid government ID. This fee covers several amenities, including:

• Enhanced in-room wireless internet access for up to six (6) devices
• Basic wireless internet access in public areas and Convention Center on a shared network
• Two bottled waters replenished daily in your guest room
• Two pieces of dry-cleaning daily
• Scheduled shuttle service to Walt Disney World® Theme Parks & Disney Springs®
• Admittance for two people to Yoga Classes – offered twice a day, seven days a week

Deposit and Cancellation Policy

A deposit of one-night room and tax will be charged on Monday October 30, 2023, to a credit card for reservations to be guaranteed. Reservations can be cancelled up to 72 hours prior to arrival without penalty. Cancellations made within 72 hours of arrival will forfeit one night's room and tax deposit.

The nearest airport is Orlando International Airport (MCO), located 19 miles east of Gaylord Palms Resort.

Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) is another option, located 45 miles north of Gaylord Palms Resort.
