Wood River Federal, in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs' Direct Access Program, is participating in a virtual business opportunity session.

Wood River Federal is seeking small business partners with strong client relationships, program knowledge, and/or niche services, but do not currently have a good, low-risk contracting mechanism or vehicle for the Government to procure their services.

 

Event Goals 

By attending this event, the participants will be presented with an alternative acquisition mechanism and partnering process when presenting contract options to clients. This event will provide attendees with:

  • Knowledge about Alaska Native Corporations (ANCs) – why they exist, contracting advantages      they have, and the opportunities and threats in partnering with them;
  • Information about the 8(a) ANC direct award/sole source process and some of the specific rules and regulations that apply;
  • Introduction to Wood River Federal, a relatively “new” ANC to the Federal Government market; and
  • How to partner with Wood River Federal.
