Medical Surgical Prime Vendor (MSPV) Environmental Management Services - Flashlights


VA seeks to include these items within the Medical Surgical Prime Vendor (MSPV) 2.0 catalog of consumable medical/surgical supplies and related items. Source selection for MSPV 2.0 supplies has been governed extensively by Veterans First requirements, usually involving an SDVOSB set-aside with tiered evaluation. This market research considers whether that acquisition strategy should apply to items covered by the expiring AbilityOne BOAs, or whether another strategy is required.                                                                                                                                                       Environmental Management Service and associated health care environmental program maintain each VA medical centers and facilities in a state of physical and biological cleanliness which meets all requirements for VA healthcare facilities. Ensuring that all health care environmental program functions are implemented to ensure a safe, sanitary, healing environment, for ensuring a state of physical and biological cleanliness, pertaining to sanitation within VA medical facilities. This includes cleaning and protective-surface maintenance, waste handling, grounds maintenance, infection control, with adequate supply of sanitary textiles, safe conditions through the proper handling of waste materials, and tubular flashlights, Krypton and LED bulbs.
